No specific seating requirements

For customers who have no specific seating requirements and are able to sit in any seats within the theatre, you are able to select any standard seat and the access pricing will be available to select under the full price option. If you are also registered for an essential companion ticket, you can select a seat as a free essential companion ticket.

Partially Sighted

For customers who are partially sighted, there are specific seats set aside in the front Stalls. These seats may vary depending on the show requirements, but can be either of the below group of seats: 
  • Stalls row B 6-15 
  • Stalls row C 7-16

These seats are shown in the image at the bottom of this article highlighted in Yellow.

 

 Hearing Impairment

The Bristol Hippodrome uses a Mobile Connect with WIFI hearing assist, which can connect to a personal device or one of the in house devices. Because of this, any seat in the venue would be suitable. 

 

Limited Stairs

For customers who can only manage a few stairs, the venue has specific seats set aside that are the most suitable, These seats are noted below: 
  • Stalls row F 33 & 34
  • Stalls row G 35 & 36
  • Stalls row H 35 & 36
  • Stalls row J 37 & 38
  • Stalls row K 37 & 38
  • Stalls row L 38 & 39
  • Stalls row P 31-41
  • Stalls row Q 43-44
  • Stalls row R 44 & 45
  • Stalls row S 45 & 46
  • Stalls row T 46 & 47
  • Stalls row W 45 & 46
These seats are shown in the image at the bottom of this article highlighted in Purple.

Stair Free Access

Unfortunately, there are no seats that offer stair free access as all seats have a minimum of 2 steps up or down - this theatre is only able to accommodate Wheelchair positions or seats with limited stairs. 

 

Wheelchair Spaces 

For customers who require a wheelchair space and will remain in the wheelchair for the duration of the performance, there is a wheelchair bay in the Stalls row M that can accommodate 4 wheelchairs with an accompanying companion seat.
Box G & H are also wheelchair accessible by a ramp and each can comfortably sit one wheelchair and one accompanying companion seat.
*The platform lift providing access to the auditorium is 75cm wide, 120cm long and can accommodate a total weight of up to 250kg

Wheelchair access to transfer into a venue seat

For customers who require wheelchair access but wish to transfer into a venue seat, all seats at this venue have at least 2 steps up or down to access; there are no stair free seats within this theatre. If a customer is unable to navigate at least 2 steps, we would recommend booking a wheelchair space. 
We have no seats where a wheelchair can be positioned adjacent and we are not able to store any mobility scooters or motorised wheelchairs.
