Buying Tickets

How do I get tickets?

Tickets will be reserved for both the pre-sale on Tuesday 28 March at 12pm and the General Sale on Thursday 30 March at 12pm. For best availability and the best seats we advise you sign up for priority booking. If you are unfortunately unable to get tickets through the priority sale then we advise that you try again in the general sale.

 

When will the pre-sale be?

Pre-sale tickets go on sale at 12pm (UK) on Tuesday 28 March. To access pre-sale tickets sign up to the Stranger Things: The First Shadow mailing list.

 

How do I access general sale tickets?

General Sale tickets will be available to book through our website from 12pm (UK). From 11.45am (UK) a BOOK NOW button will become available on this website.

 

Is signing up the only way to buy tickets?

Signing up will ensure you get access to the pre-sale on Tuesday 28 March. If you do not sign up you will still be able to buy tickets through the General Sale through this website on Thursday 30 March.

 

What is a preview performance?

Previews are public performances of the show that take place before its official opening. The purpose of the preview is to allow the creative team time to identify small changes and opportunities for improvements or adjustments that are best identified with a live audience.

 

Can I book over the phone?

There is unfortunately no method to purchase tickets over the phone during the Pre-sale or General Sale. Please visit atgtickets.com to book.

 

Where is the best place to book?

We advise all our priority customers to access the booking system via the link that will be sent over email to them. We always recommend customers do not purchase tickets through third party vendors.

 

Are there any family prices?

There are no family group prices for the show. Tickets are only available individually.

 

Is there a limited on the amount of tickets I can buy?

Yes, in order to ensure everyone has fair access to tickets, you can purchase a maximum of 6 tickets.

 

Will you be doing a lottery for tickets closer to the time?

A weekly lottery for late-release tickets will be announced closer to first performance.

 

What happens if I am now unable to attend a performance? 

If you are unable to attend a performance you can exchange your tickets up to 48hrs prior to the performance.  Tickets are non-refundable as per ATG’s terms and conditions. If you need assistance with your booking please refer to ATG’s Help page where you can find out more.

 

Where can I buy tickets for groups and/or students?

Tickets will not be available at this point for group bookings or student bookings. Individual tickets will be available to purchase on the pre-sale and general sale.

 

Access Information

How do I get access tickets at pre-sale or general sale?

To book online please join our Access Scheme in advance. You can find the information you need on the ATG Tickets website. On the day of the Pre-sale (28 Mar) or General Sale (30 Mar) please visit atgtickets.com and sign into your account at the earliest opportunity; tickets go on sale at midday. When you visit the seat map you will find the available accessible seats for each performance and essential companion tickets where applicable. We also have a helpful guide to booking accessible seats online.

To book accessible seats by phone please call the ATG Tickets Accessibility line on 0333 009 5399. Our team are available from 9am to 8pm Monday to Sunday; Bank holidays may vary. 

Please note we ask for proof of eligibility for free Essential Companion tickets and this scheme is managed by Nimbus Disability on our behalf. Full details of the scheme and how to register are available on the ATG Tickets website.

 

Does the Theatre have wheelchair access?

The Phoenix Theatre accessible entrance is at the side of the building on Flitcroft Street.

Wheelchair spaces are at the back of the Dress Circle, K 2+3, K12+13, K 16+17, K26+27. There is no on-site parking available. Phoenix Street, in front of the Main Entrance, is suitable for drop-off and taxis can be hailed from Charing Cross Road.

 

Will there be any captioned or audio assisted performances?

We are looking forward to presenting Captioned, Audio Described and BSL performances for Stranger Things: The First Shadow, once dates for these are confirmed we will update our website so please check back periodically.

The play is set within the world and mythology of Stranger Things. A good guide would be to check if you and your party are comfortable with the level of content within the TV show. We would recommend 12+.  Under 5s not permitted.  Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. 

 

Should I be aware of any potential trigger warnings in the show?
