This is information about how to interpret our seating map specifically. If you would like full step-by-step instructions on how to make an online booking, please read our guide here.
When booking for an event which has assigned seating, you will see a seating map. This allows you to choose the seat that you would like to purchase.
At the top you’ll see the event date and time. If the event you have selected is showing multiple times at the same venue, you will see purple navigation arrows. You can click the left and right arrows to navigate through alternative dates and times.
If the event you have selected has multiple shows at the same venue you will also see a ‘view calendar’ button at the top left of the page. Clicking the arrow will take you to a calendar page to be able to pick which date you are interested in.
A summary of the performance you have selected will be shown on the right side of the page, so that you can check the details.
There is a bar showing the various prices for tickets that are available for the event. The ‘ALL’ option will already be selected and will show all available seats to you. But if you want to pick a specific price of ticket then click on that price and only the seats available at that price will show on the seatmap, allowing you to clearly find the seat you’d like to purchase. If a price is listed in the top section but is greyed out and not able to be selected, this means that there are no longer any seats available for purchase at that price. Some of the coloured icons in the key may have a package symbol on them, that means that the seats available at that price include additional items beyond the ticket itself. Prices may also change without notice according to demand.
The row underneath similarly shows ‘Seat type’, where you can select different types of ticket, for example ‘Packages’. Selecting this option will filter to seats which have a package included in the ticket price.
The seating map is colour coded by price, and to purchase a seat you click on the circle of the seat you want to select. Some seats will have special icons on them, for example packages. Seats that are greyed out are not available for purchase and you cannot click on them, this might be because the seat has already been sold or that the seat is not available for purchase at this time.
You can use the + and – options to zoom in and out of the seating map, to reset the zoom back to the default view click the middle home symbol.
When you select a seat on the seating plan, a window opens which tells you the seat location within the venue, any required additional information e.g. stair access only, and the opportunity to click the image to see the approximate view from the seat.
If there are multiple types of ticket which can be purchased, they will appear in this list so that you can select the option you wish to purchase, e.g. full price, student etc.
