For information on where the best location is for Coach drop offs/pick ups and parking for our regional venues, please see the below.
Please note that this is only a recommendation provided by the venue, for more information we would suggest contacting the local council.
The Waterside Theatre, Aylesbury
Unfortunately, there is no designated coach parking at this theatre. There are local bus stops across from the theatre that could be utilised for quick drop-off/pick-ups, but for anything else we would recommend contacting the local council.
The Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham
There is a layby in front of the building on Suffolk Street Queensway that can be used for drop-off/pick-ups, but cannot be used for coaches to wait during the production.
The Theatre Royal, Brighton
The best place for coaches to stop for drop off/pick up is outside The Dome on Church Street. This is a 30-second walk around to the Theatre Royal Brighton.
The Hippodrome Theatre, Bristol
Most coaches/school groups get dropped off in front of the venue on St Augustines parade.
For the best location for parking during the show, we would recommend visiting the local council recommended coach parking e.g. https://travelwest.info/driving/parking/#bristol-coach-parking-1
The Playhouse Theatre, Edinburgh
The best places for Coach drop-offs are outside the OMNI centre or on London Road - Please do not drop off directly outside of the building as this blocks emergency vehicles from accessing the venue as well as blocking the evacuation routes from the theatre and local businesses.
Leas Cliff Hall, Folkestone
Coaches can drop off outside the venue using the loading bay and then, there is free parking for coaches at Dymchurch Central, Orgarswick Avenue, TN29 0PP about 20min drive from here.
The King's Theatre, Glasgow
The nearest coach parking is at Buchanan Street bus station. This is on request and for a fee though.
This would be for coaches to wait and return, not drop off – this would just be street drop off.
The Theatre Royal, Glasgow
The nearest coach parking is at Buchanan Street bus station. This is on request and for a fee though. This would be for coaches to wait and return, not drop off – this would just be street drop off.
On Edington Street which is nearer to the Theatre Royal there is generally free on street parking which is suitable for coaches to wait and then return to the Royal – again, it is not near enough to park and walk to the theatre though so you would need to drop off on a street near the theatre.
The Granville Theatre, Ramsgate
Unfortunately we don't have any coach parking at the Granville Theatre, you would need to park on one of the public side roads near the theatre.
The Liverpool Empire Theatre
We have no coach parking, only one drop off point on Lime Street outside of the venue, with a maximum time of 20 minutes.
The Palace Theatre, Manchester
At the Palace the best place for drop off is on Whitworth street, we can then either use a quieter side door or bring you round to the front based on what suits. There is also a coach space marked out in front of the NCP Oxford Street Car Park and the coach bay is just down the side.
The theatre does not has the ability for coaches to wait/stay.
The Opera House, Manchester
The Opera House has just had more spaces marked out front for coach/bus drop off so this is the best location. We do request they move off as quickly as possible though as we can block the road there.
The theatre does not has the ability for coaches to wait/stay.
Milton Keynes Theatre
We would recommed coaches to drop-off/pick-up at the front of the theatre.
For parking we recommend contacting the council on 01908252309 or mkparking@milton-keynes.gov.uk
The New Theatre, Oxford
Coaches are able to drop off on George Street by Victoria Court. For parking, you can use the park and ride carparks on the outskirts of the city - https://www.oxford.gov.uk/parkandride
The Richmond Theatre
Coaches can drop off outside the theatre but the road can get busy. The closest car park is Old Deer Car Park, about a 3-5 min walk away, charges apply. Further info can be found here: https://www.richmond.gov.uk/services/parking/car_parks/richmond_area_car_parks
The Globe Theatre, Stockton
This is currently under revision with the local council
The Regent Theatre & Victoria Hall, Stoke-On-Trent
The best drop off place for both venues is Pall Mall which is at the side of the Regent and a few minutes’ walk from the Victoria Hall. There are pull ins on Pall Mall that coaches can use to drop customers off, though we do not encourage staying here for the duration of the show.
The Sunderland Empire Theatre
Coaches are able to drop-off/pick-up at the rear of the theatre where there are designated bus laybys.
The Swansea Arena
There is a coach drop off bay (stopping for 10 minutes) on the service road between Swansea LC2 and the rear loading bay of the Arena. There are security bollards in place for entry to this road so any driver should be informed to press the Swansea Arena Contact button to speak to stage door staff to allow the bollards to be lowered for entry. The bollards are on automatic for exit. Should any difficulties arise please inform drivers to use the Arena button to report this and allow us to manually drop the bollards.
The Princess Theatre, Torquay
Coaches are able to drop off their passengers outside the box office on the main road. Once this has been done they are able to park up behind Torquay train station, next to the Grand Hotel which is situated along the seafront.
The New Wimbledon Theatre
Coaches can drop-off customers on Russell road in the loading bays. For information on parking locations during the show, we would recommend contacting the local council.
The New Victoria Theatre, Woking
For Woking there is a loading bay just outside our Stage Door which is on Victoria Way that coaches are able to drop off for the theatre. For information on parking locations during the show, we would recommend contacting the local council. www.surreycc.gov.uk/roads-and-transport/parking
The Grand Opera House, York
If you are travelling by COACH, the nearest coach drop off area is Cumberland Street, YO1 9SW – Please
note this is limited space and for drop-offs only. Coach parking is available in St Georges Car Park. For more information on parking please visit All council car parks – City of York Council
