FAQs

Which tests are acceptable?

We can accept evidence of a lateral flow test or PCR test. Lateral flow tests are readily available and free in the UK for all customers; you do not need to be a UK citizen or eligible for NHS services to access them.

Lateral flow tests are available to order for free from the gov.uk website.

You can also collect them for free from pharmacies.

How do I record my results and get the required evidence?

You must complete your test within the 48 hours prior to your visit.

If you receive a positive result from a lateral flow test you must not attend; you must now arrange for a free PCR test to confirm the result, and follow the government’s guidance for self-isolation.

If your test result is negative, you need to register the result with the NHS Self Reporting Tool in order to get the evidence you need to be permitted entry into the Kit Kat Club. This service is free and available to everyone; you do not need to be a UK citizen or eligible for NHS services to use it.

To access the Self Reporting Tool view here. Once you have registered your results you will receive a text and/or email confirmation. This is the evidence we require you to bring with you and present to our staff on arrival at the venue.

What happens if I don't bring evidence with me?

Please note that failure to provide the required evidence may result in you being refused entry without a refund. Lateral Flow tests take 20-30 minutes to complete and you can complete this at any point in the 48 hours prior to your arrival. Tests are freely available from pharmacies, including within the local vicinity of the theatre.

I am medically exempt, or I’ve been told not to take a lateral flow or PCR test because I have had COVID-19 in the last 90 days.

In this situation, please contact the venue Access Champion or Box Office Team at playhousebox@theambassadors.com ahead of your visit. The team will advise you on the evidence we require.
