Most of ATG's venues have wheelchair access. Accessibility does vary by venue, and we publish details on our website as outlined below. Each venue also has an Access Champion who can answer any accessibility queries you may have; please Submit a Request and select Access Enquiry.
Please note that our recently acquired venue The Ambassadors Theatre, in London's West End, currently has no step-free access. This will be rectified in 2022 when the venue will close temporarily for building works. The Fortune Theatre in London's West End has limited wheelchair access; a platform lift to the dress circle can accommodate standard sized wheelchairs; full details are provided on the venue's web page as outlined below. We also offer At Seat Service in all venues for Access patrons.
You can find detailed information about each theatre's wheelchair spaces, accessible toilets, lift services and general accessibility on each theatre's Access section on this website. To view this information, select 'Venues' at the top of our website, choose the venue you'd like to visit, and then scroll down to 'About' for accessibility, contact and travel details.
Alternatively, if you have selected the show you'd like to see, scroll down for venue information. Select Access for accessibility information and Getting Here for travel details.
We understand that many of our patrons are more comfortable transferring from their wheelchair to a theatre seat to watch the performance. When booking via our dedicated Access booking line, or Submitting a Request please explain your particular Access requirements and let them know the type of chair that you will be transferring from to ensure that we are able to store it whilst you watch the performance. If you register for Access Membership you will be asked to specify the size of your wheelchair, or alternatively if you'd like an accessible seat to transfer. These seats will then be available for you to see and book online when you log in as an Access Member.
